My Compilation Post, Three Ways To Earn From Old Posts In Steem Atlas

Hello fellow steemian, friends and folk, good day!

What is Steem Atlas?

Steem Atlas provides a new interface to the many thousands of place or location based posts on the Steem blockchain.

It is already has over 40,000 posts that were inherited from the old Steemit Worldmap project.

Now it wants to attract as many people as possible to add new posts to help make Steem-Powered Atlas an attractive, interesting and useful resources for people looking to find-out about places anywhere in the world.

Adding Your Old Posts to Steem-Powered Atlas;

Steem-Powered Atlas are looking for good quality old posts and in any language, that are about to specified particular places or location.

Which these include posts about...

• tourist attractions
• holiday destinations
• mountains & lakes
• museums & galleries
• theatres
• sport venues & stadiums
• zoos, animal sanctuaries & wildlife parks
• churches, temples & places of worship
• restaurants, cafes, bars & any type of eating place
• shops & shopping malls
• universities, colleges & schools
• transport stations

Infact, any places or locations that you can locate on Steem-Powered Atlas.

Posts should be about places you have visited with photos you have taken.

And to make one of your old posts appear on Steem-Powered Atlas, you just need to do was to edit and follow this steps.

• Go to the Steem Atlas which I'll give you the link, https://steematlas.com/, this is the face of new version.

• Tap the MAIN MENU found at the upper right portion of your screen, if you used a mobile phone (follow the blue arrow sign).

• Tap on the EMBED PIN button.

• Tap the MAP TO PLACE A PIN.

• Zoom in to the exact location of the place your post is about, my NEW PIN.

• Fill in the appropriate PIN DESCRIPTION box inorder to appear it on your pin location.

• And then tap on the Copy Pin Code button.

• It will appear COPIED on the screen.

• Then paste the Location Code into the bottom portion of your old post, this is the link looks like.

And your post will then appear on Steem-Powered Atlas after a few minutes.

Just make sure you get the correct location for the place your post is about, cross reference on Google Maps if needed.

Actually there are three ways on how to earn from adding old posts to Steem-Powered Atlas:

1)Adding a comment.

While they cannot vote on old posts, they can vote on new comments.

So when you have added an old post to Steem-Powered Atlas, check whether it is located in the right location, and then add a comment to the post saying something like this...

(I've just added this post to Steem-Powered Atlas!)

They will be on the look out for these old posts and will vote on as many of these comments as they can.

2)Making a compilation post.

If you are adding quite a few old posts to Steem Atlas you could make a new post listing the old posts you have added.

Your post could also include information about Steem Atlas, and how you have used it, to help promote the project.

If you have many old posts suitable for Steem-Powered Atlas you might want to divide them up into different posts for different topics.

Use the tag #steem-atlas so that tbey can look out for these compilation posts and give votes for the best ones.

Remember; they are looking for quality not quantity. So make sure the posts are just about specific places or locations that you personally have visited.

3)Weekly prizes for the best compilation posts.

Each week they will select one Compilation Post with the best set of old posts added to Steem-Powered Atlas.

The prize for that winning post will be 10 STEEM.

They will start with one winning post, but may add more prizes if there is sufficient interest.

To qualify a Compilation Post, it must include at least three suitable posts successfully and accurately added to Steem-Powered Atlas.

New compilation posts can be submitted once a week but the posts added to Steem- Powered Atlas should not be repeated.
