Photography Contest and Giveaway #8

My feet are the backbone of my body. That's why I try to take care of them by wearing comfortable shoes. I have also been advised by my doctors to walk at least three to four times a week for my health.

Some days I may not be able to keep my schedule. But when I do get the chance to go walking, my choice of shoes is Skechers. The reason I trust Skechers to handle my walking needs is that he shoe is a comfortable, soft knit mesh fabric with the ability to stretch.

The primary reason I like Skechers is the numerous casual styles they offer. The easy, slip on fit is perfect for me. I tend to be a bit off balance from my daily medications. Stability is a high priority for me. That's why I choose shoes with rubber outsoles. The outsole of a shoe is the name for the familiar "sole" of a shoe.

Soles can be constructed of different materials. The different materials dictate the price of the shoe. The soles that are made of different types vinyls are less expensive and lighter, and are less durable. Rubber is more sturdy, durable, and provides better traction than other materials.

Since it's the bottom of the shoe that comes in direct contact with the ground, I made sure to find a high quality flexible rubber outsole shoe. I have encountered slippery and oily substances on the ground. And my Skechers helped me keep my balance.

I love all the classic-looking designs for women Skechers has that are designed with rubber outsoles.

To have someone that really care about shoes they wear before condition het worst is very rare. If I'm not mistaken sketchers is a type of shoes which are quite expensive but worth the buy. You're explanation on how good that shoe are very good. I almost fell into your trap 😅😅 Just joking. If I have more money I would like to buy that kind of shoe too in the future. It's hard to find a cheap but good shoe this day. Promotion is always my solution 😅😅 I'll wait for it to go under promotion 🤣🤣🤣

Hi @heartbeat1515. Yes, they are expensive, but very well made, and worth it. We have a local outlet here, so I wait also for them to have sales. Most of the time I order from the website.

The reason I have to take care of my feet I explained in my freewrite blog: nail polish. I have Type 2 Diabetes. And with this disease, care for your feet is extremely important. I can't afford to get a bruise, injury. Even an ingrown toenail can send me to the hospital. Amputation of feet and legs is a frightening reality for people with Diabetes.

I can't stress enough the important of foot care. Thank you for visiting and leaving such a nice engagement and support.

I understand well about diabetes and the risk you are having. I work in the hospital and I've seen a lot of amputee patient. If it is not because of accident or trauma, the main cause would be diabetes. If you get hurt, it will be difficult to heal and that brings you nearer to infection and much worser condition. I like your rubber story.

So glad you like my story @heartbeat1515. I wanted it to be part of my diabetes and heart problems exercise regime and not about the disease itself, that's why I didn't mention it.

I really like your themed contests. They are easy to complete, but makes you think about ordinary things at the same time and give them a story. Thanks so much for your support and encouragement. Have a great day including the rest of your week.
