I love to listen to music – all kinds of music – because they stimulate my mind and body, and because they make me happy and put me in the mood. But, when it comes to describing as to why one is my favourite musician or singer, it becomes a real challenge for me because I am not a music expert. Michael Jackson wasn’t only a singer but also a very gifted songwriter. In addition to that, he also did the background vocals and beat for his songs. His songs had beautiful lyrics, meaning and passion. Most of the songs he wrote were number one hits and are timeless classics, people never get tired of listening to his music. He sang with power, and felt genuine emotion, no matter whatever kind of songs he was singing. He is without doubt the king of pop. I started to know him at the moment my younger brother was playing MJ's video that MJ was showing his sharp and extraordinary “moonwalk” dance performance. I have been listening to his music since then and he is missed.
