Hello friends,
Steem Fashion & Style is in its 40th week of hosting regular debates. This week's debate is which drama or comedy is more popular. Each side of the argument advances its own side by presenting the opposing side's arguments. Today's debate is quite complex and it depends at best on a person's own preferences and temperament. I am always entertained by comedy but not always entertained by drama. Thanks to @sahmie for choosing such a title. I invite you @waterjoe @max-pro @tammanna to participate in this debate.

Let me first explain why drama is not much entertainment.
Drama does not always entertain. There are many categories of drama through which different types of drama are entertained including comedy, tragedy, religious drama, social drama and propaganda drama. It goes without saying that comedy dramas are entertaining. On the other hand, in tragedy plays, the play ends with a tragic situation that brings tears to the eyes of the audience and expresses sadness. Religious dramas depict religious practices or religious doctrines. Social drama exposes the bad aspects of society and raises awareness about it. On the other hand, the street plays that are shown in the campaign promote a specific issue. Although drama entertains, it cannot entertain in all cases.

Why Comedy Is Best For Entertainment
Comedy is created to entertain the audience through humor. Humor helps improve people's mood and reduces stress. Comedy is best for instant gratification and can quickly delight the audience and grab their attention. Comedy can entertain us and teach us real life situations by making it about our daily life. Comedy is made up of funny situations between our relationships, friendships and family members. Satire on any topic can make us happy. Comedy is an expression of brain creativity and wit with the purpose of making people laugh in specific situations. Nowadays, comedy is being taken to another level by standup comedy where the surrounding subjects entertain the audience through the use of metaphors and expressions.

Comedy is more entertaining because comedy tries to entertain people through humor. Comedy is based on everyday experiences, cultural surroundings and current events that appeal to people.
