Skill can be known as the ability to be able to do something very well. Talking about skill, it is a very important aspect in the lives of everyone of us. A lot of people got to where they are today because they are skilled in one thing or the other.
As far as I’m concerned, skill is very important in the world so you have to be fixed somewhere so you can be skilled in it.
I’d love to thank @dequeen for raising this amazing contest that asks the question “Learning lucrative skills at a tender age.”

Is it advisable to send a child to learn skills at tender age?

Yes, it is. I feel that any parent who wants the best for their child and wants their child to start achieving their aims at a tender age are those who always make sure that their child learn skills at tender age.
There is a saying that “practice makes perfect”. If a child learns a skill at a tender age, by the time he or she grows up, he will become a boss in that skill he learned.
Also, such child will be able to support her parents. If you are skilled in something and you make some little money with it, you wouldn’t have to stress your parents for everything because there are a few bills that you can sort all by yourself.

What are the advantages and disadvantage of sending a child to learn skills at tender age.

One thing for sure is that there is nothing that has its advantage that doesn’t have disadvantage.

•Advantages

• Such child will be able to stand on her feet. This kind of child will not have to worry about the fact that her parents are not sponsoring her lifestyle to the fullest.

• Such child tends to have a bright future. When a child is put through the right path, knowing about what you want to be in future will be very easy.

• They are self employed. A lot of people now graduate from higher institutions but if they have a skill, they won’t have to be in search of jobs. They can just focus on their skill and move on.

•Disadvantages

I feel this is just one thing which is that the child may find it hard to be focused. A lot of people don’t know how to combine work and education so it affects their lifestyle.
I think that’s the major disadvantage here.

Did you learn a skill at tender age? If yes, relate your experience. If no, state your reasons.

I didn’t learn any skill at my tender age. I might have regretted it but there is nothing to worry about or regret. Instead, I built up my writing skills and moved on.
Secondly, I didn’t learn any skill because I was confused about what skill to learn. I could not make my decision on time so I didn’t bother to learn.

Which skills can one learn at tender age?

I’d love to chip in an advice here which is, you need to be able to take note of your child. Learn to know what your child is interested in before you decide to put him or her in any training.
At tender age, a child can learn skills like;
Soap making
Bead making
Wire works
Baking and so much more.

We are now in the world where we have to be very skilled if we want to be great at what we do. That’s why I’d love to invite @josepha @simonnwigwe and @bonaventure24 to also participate in this contest.

Nice write up my dear sister, not everyone can learn new skill and is normal for us to confuse about the certain skill we want to choose. Skill learn at tender age help us as a parent to have rest of mind if our child do not get government job, skill that he learn may serve as plan B. Try to apply markdown style so that your work can be neat and well arrange..#steem-on

Saludos
