SFS Contest: Your New Year Resolutions

New resolutions must be a part of our plan, and we must ensure that all necessary things are put in place to help us achieve our aims and objectives in the coming year. The year 2025 is around the corner, next week, insha'Allah, everyone will be jubilant that they witnessed another year.

What do you think about resolutions? Is it important for everyone?

New Year resolution is the goal we plan to achieve at the beginning of the year. Resolution is important because it helps us to improve in our daily lives. We all make different promises concerning New Year resolutions. Some make a promise that they are going to build a house, buy a new car, exercise on a regular basis, quit smoking, and avoid eating meat if they reach a certain age.

It's important to have New Year's resolutions because they will help us make progress and give us a sense of belonging. New Year resolutions help us to identify the mistakes we made in the previous year and what steps we can take to prevent such mistakes from recurring in the coming year.

Additionally, people get motivated with the hope that positive changes will happen in their lives, and this can only be achieved with strong determination and focus. It also encourages people to set specific goals for the improvement of their lives.

What are your resolutions for the coming year either about your studies or job?

My studies are essential to me at this moment. In the future, I plan to pursue my M.Sc. in Public Administration because it has been a long-time dream of mine. I should have done it this year, but a lack of money hindered the process. I don't want this to happen again. I will pray to Almighty God to help me achieve this success. Education is very important because it is the instrument to change the world for the better. I will pursue my Master's program at a reputable institution in Nigeria because they have high-quality lecturers capable of handling any discipline. This M.Sc. certificate will help me progress, and no organization will render me useless.

Share any resolution that you achieved this year

Coming back to the Steemit platform is a big achievement for me. I powered down some months ago due to financial challenges I faced. My phone got spoiled, so I don't have money to purchase a new one. Steemit gave me hope, so I powered down because I don't have another alternative and I used the money to buy a new phone. I came back to continue writing quality content, at least once on a daily basis.

I believe that everything will work out well if I don't relent. I have achieved many things on Steemit, like gaining more knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I received SBD when it started being printed again and converted it to Steem, finally powering up.

Conclusion

We renew our goals at the beginning of every new year to help us grow and succeed in life. Goal setting may be difficult for some people, but we must always have positive thoughts and avoid negative ones. I will like to invite @hudamalik20, @rossnenye and @josepha to come and join in this contest
