Hello Everyone Assalam-o-alikum

Hope so you people will be doing well and will be in good health. First of all before pouring my thoughts thank you so much @sahmie for bringing this hot topic to the table. It has always been a topic to be talked about whether money can buy you everything and the rich are the happiest or if is there any role of poor people too in happiness.

I would like to invite @sualeha, @uzma4882 and @ayesha0345 to join this debate Contest: The Debate (Week 19); Riches Vs Happiness

What do you understand about "RICH" ~ for me being rich typically refers to having ample financial resources or material possessions.
Note that this is not an accurate definition, these are just my perspective.

In my book, being poor but happy takes the cake any day. We can't deny that money holds a lot of sway. It gives us a sense of security, makes life cushier, and opens doors to all sorts of opportunities. But here's the thing we often overlook: the peace of mind that comes with simplicity and contentment, even when we're short on cash. Indeed being rich can get you genuine happiness every time.

Let's dive into why, from my perspective, individuals with limited means often seem to possess a rich reserve of calmness despite facing hardships.

  • Living with less money doesn't mean you can't be happy. Simplicity can make you feel content. When you're not always chasing stuff, you can focus on what's important. Like hanging out with family, enjoying nature, or doing things that mean something to you. Keeping life simple shows you that happiness isn't about how much money you have.

  • People with less money and limited resources seem to be stronger and more thankful, even when things are tough. They learn to deal with problems, keep going, and be thankful for the little things. Instead of focusing on what they don't have, they're grateful for what they do. They find happiness in small wins and everyday stuff.

  • When you have less you start valuing feelings over money. Even if you don't have much, relationships and personal growth matter most. Love, understanding, and getting better as a person are the real treasures. People can find true happiness and peace by focusing on these things. Keeping life simple, staying strong, and enjoying what truly makes them happy, they understand that the best things in life aren't things you can buy, but the moments you live.

I am not saying that money is not important. Money is important but only that much that you need. Because those who are not rich they're all about being strong, thankful, and seeing things from a different angle. Their peace of mind doesn't come from what they have but from their relationships, their faith, and their ability to bounce back from tough times. When things get tough, they find comfort in simple things. It's this inner peace, that makes their lives rich in ways that money can't buy.

Balancing money and happiness is important. Money gives security and chances, but living simply brings peace. Instead of seeing them as opposites, we should aim for both. Managing money well and valuing relationships, passions, and gratitude helps. True peace comes from meaningful connections and inner strength, not just money.

This was all from my side. Thank you for your time. See you all soon with another piece of writing.
