Assalamualaikum everyone, I hope that you all are doing well and enjoying your happy and healthy life. Congratulations to us on being selected for the steemit engagement challenge season 8. I am here to share my participation in our week 1 challenge. It's my favorite topic to share about your cultural attires so that others will learn something aaboandandd inspire by others' cultural fashion attires.

What is your specific cultural attire and how frequently do you wear it?

Each country has its different and unique cultural fashions but in Asian countries, we mostly wear the same dress design and fashion. The beauty of our culture is to wear a dupatta or stoller at any event either at home or outside.

The specific cultural attire which I frequently wear at weddings and related events. Causally I wear shalwar kameez on each day and during my university. But for weddings, we have specific cultural attires which include maxi, frocks, lehenga choli, and saree. But I frequently wear Maxis at my siblings and cousins' weddings.

I ordered this Maxi from Pakistan's largest city Lahore and it's ready-made. You can buy anytime and attend any event. Because if we take clothes and then stitch them, it's a lot of time and money too. These works on maxi are done by hand and it's comfortable for me as it didn't irritate my body.

List and describe the activities for which you use this cultural attire.

The casual cultural attires shalwar kameez I wear every day. I can wear it at birthday parties, while my clinical rotation, going shopping, and attending any dinner/lunch with friends and family. It's so comfortable and you can easily wear it. I prefer to buy them unstitched and then stitched through my tailor.

Then the specific cultural attires I wear at wedding ceremonies, engagement ceremonies, kids' birthday parties, my birthday celebrations, Eid UL Adha, Eid UL Fitar, and Special occasions at home. We have to celebrate these events by wearing new and beautiful clothes. I can't complete any Eid without wearing a new dress either it would be simple shalwar kameez or some fancy dress.

Do you think your cultural attitude is unique and how much does it cost in your country's currency?

Yes, these are unique except in Asian countries nowhere, does anyone wear a share salwar kameez, maxi, lehenga choli, and frocks. These are unique as most people make handwork on these dresses and then wear them on special occasions. The dress I wear to my sibling's weddings are also handmade and most people from foreign countries ordered dresses for weddings from Pakistan.

It's not much costly for us. You can buy wedding clothes at the cheapest and highest rate too but it depends on fabric quality and your choice. Bridal dresses are expensive, people happily wear expensive attires at the wedding as it's the best day of their life. But we can wear simple dresses which didn't cost much.

These are average prices but bridal dresses are more much costly ranging from lakhs to millions. People prefer to buy from brands that have better fabric, designs, and texture.
