Joining contest is always a good start of the day Today I am happy to express myself in the drawing contest on Steem Fashion & Style community organized by @hive-126193 and the subject is ‘Draw A Kiwi.’ Kiwi is one fruit that has a peculiar texture and green skin that I wish to depict in the artwork. Drawing out the fine details of kiwi fruits on paper has been quite cumbersome but also fulfilling and as such, everyone in the community should be able to glance through my work.

For this drawing, I gathered the essential materials

🔹white paper,

🔹a pencil,

🔹an eraser,

🔹and poster colors

Now, let's dive into the drawing process:

Step 1

I first drew the outline of the kiwi fruit on the white paper with the help of a pencil. Next, I sketched half portion of the Kiwi Fruit so as to give it a look of depth.

Step 2

Next, the middle part of kiwi was outlined and I paid attention to show that it contains a white core from inside, giving the kiwi illustration a realistic look.

Step 3

There after I incorporated the seeds, which are unique to kiwi fruit. Finally, with each element successfully combing, the shape of kiwi fruit was starting to grow up in me.

Step 4

At last, the drawing process were carried out to the next level where color was introduced. Before painting, I coated a part of the kiwi’s outer body area with brown poster color evenly such that it was not blotchy.

Step 5

---

The last one was painting the middle portion with light parrot green since the fruit has a shiny and fresh look. Finally to give the drawing a finishing look, I drew black color for the seeds that surround them so that they be well seen from the green color of the plant.

Lastly, my kiwi fruit drawing was done to all its finesse in regard to detail and color to capture the true nature of this kiwi fruit.

Well, I am not that good drawer, as for myself I did my best to draw this kiwi fruit, and to take part in this contest. Overall, it was a fun experience and I relished the chance to push myself to the creative edge. I believe all you readers appreciated my effort and I hope you all like it as much as I did doing it.
