MEANING OF AI

Hello friends 👋! I hope we are good! Talking about AI, AI is an abbreviation which means "Artificial Intelligence". It refers to simulation of human intelligence in machines enabling them to learn, reason, solve problems, understand language and so on.

AI uses data and computing power to make decisions, improve performance and carry out tasks like human beings. AI is a technology that enables machine to act like humans.

TYPES OF AI

I know of three different types of AI and there includes;

1. Weak AI is like a toy robot it can only do one thing example playing only one game. It is not smart but is good at doing one thing.

2. Strong AI is like a smart helper that helps you can do many things like play games, help with homeworks, learns from you and gets better. It is almost as smart as a human being.

3. Super intelligence AI is like a genius toy that can learn everything and solve any kind of problem.

Let's say the week AI is in basic one, the strong AI just finished secondary school and is about to start the higher institution while the super intelligence AI has graduated in all the schools you could think of.

BENEFITS OF AI

There are benefits of AI to human beings and examples of such benefits are;

1. AI improves productivity in routine work and increases efficiency in administrative work.

2. AI assists in diagnosing the causes of disease and medication in hospitals and people with disabilities uses AI as powered tools.

3. AI enhances surveillance and emergency response in forces, people like police army, etc uses it to fight crime.

MY ARGUMENT

I strongly believe that AI is a threat to humanity and my reasons are as follow;

1. I think that this autonomous AI-controlled weapons can possibly initiate wars or attacks on its own without any supervision of human beings. Nothing is certain in this world so this kind of development could become dangerous later.

2. Note that this super intelligence AI surpasses human's intelligence, don't you think this could lead to uncontrollable consequences and gradually erode human autonomy? I believe it can in future.

3. Imagine having robots doing the jobs of human beings, this could lead to widespread of unemployment and there will be no value for human existence anymore.

4. With time, humans will become overly reliant on AI which will affect us, kids will see no need of going to school or even using their brains to solve problems anymore . The human brain will be at risk of losing its essence with the evolvement of AI.

5. With the advancement of AI, humans purpose would be redefined. Human's morals and ethics will be wiped out and there will be no regard for respect and values in our communities.

In conclusion AI has its benefits but know that as it continues to evolve, it's benefits will continue to expand which will make it a bigger threat to humanity.
