Greetings fellow steemias! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I am glad to participate in this contest title 📢 Contest || Unlock Your Creativity || Week - 01. Today, I drew a woman hawking with fruits on her head and with a baby at her back,. I appreciate @zisha- hafiz for organising this contest. Thank you and below is the step-by-step process of my drawing

Materials For Drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Colours

Step 1
I began my drawing from the head of the woman. I first drew her forehead followed by her nose, mouth and lower jaw. I then drew the headscarf and her eye. Finally, I drew the basket she was carrying on her head.

Step 2
I drew the fruits on the basket using a pencil, yellow colour, brown colour and yellow colour.

Step 3
At this step, I completed my drawing using black colour. I began from the neck down to her chest, her left hand, the little baby at her back, the edge of the wrapper she used in tying the baby, her right hand and finally her wrapper.

Step 4
I drew the face of the baby. I began from the eyes down to the nose and then the mouth. I also drew the leg of the child as he is wrapped around the back of his mother.

Step 5
At this step, I began the colouring which I started with the woman's wrapper. I coloured it purple using a pencil colour

Step 6
Here, I coloured her shirt. I started with the collar and then the edge of her sleeve, which I coloured black. The next thing I did was to colour the entire shirt with red colour

Step 7
I coloured the wrapper used in backing the child. The wrapper contains brown colour, brown and black

Step 8
I coloured the headscarf purple to have it match the wrapper she tied. I also shaded the hair on her head and the hair on the head of the child.

Step 9
Here, I used orange and brown colours to shade the hands of the woman and the child's leg.

Step 10
I shaded the face of the child using brown colour. I also shaded the black eyelid and the mouth of the child. Again, I shaded the eyebrow.

Step 11
In this final step, I coloured the face with a brown colour. I also shaded the mouth and the eyelids with my pencil.
