Steem greetings to friends of the Steem fashion&style community. It is the weekend, and those moments we cherish for occasions such as attending marriage functions, birthday functions, funeral rites, etc.

During such celebrations, one cannot go back home without witnessing a funny or sad moment of the occasion. Today, I will share some of those moments I witnessed at a traditional marriage celebration.

Eve of the Ceremony.

On the eve of the ceremony, according to my tradition, the bride's family are busy cooking and preparing for the wedding day.

On this day, the bride has to make sure everything is put in order. For instance, dancing rehearsal with her bridesmaids, arranging their dresses to make sure they fit well and doing arrangements with the hairstylist and the makeup artist.

On this day, the hairstylist did not show up and promised she will come over in the morning hours.

The bridesmaids practised new dance moves with the bride, but only 2 out of 6 were present. One of the funniest things was that the choice of the song to dance on that day required the bridesmaids to be flexible. One of them was as hard as wood. She could not follow the dancing steps and each time she struggles to follow them, everyone started laughing 😂 😂 as her back was stiff.

Final Day of the Traditional Marriage.

On the day of the traditional marriage, there were several funny scenes which made some people happy and others sad.

The first was the makeup of the brides and the maid. The makeup artist claimed to be a professional meanwhile she was still learning. She uses cheap makeup which due to the high temperatures caused the brides to sweat and wipe off the makeup.

The dresses of some of the bridesmaids were a call for concern. The bride shared materials with the maids and they were responsible for choosing a style and a designer. Some of them designed short gowns and were uncomfortable dancing and ushering the bride. They constantly struggle to dance and pull down the gowns to avoid their pants lol 😂 showing to the public. They could not dance freely and the bride was not happy with the dresses.

The last funny scene I witnessed during the traditional marriage was when the bride was asked to show how she will feed her husband when he returns from work. She took part of the cake as food, put it in her mouth, rubbed it with some saliva lol 😂 and was giving the groom to eat. He refused to take it 😂😂.

Conclusion.

Events always come with funny and sad moments. On an occasion with no such moments, then it was not a good occasion. Funny moments always come to spice up the sad moments. I will use this opportunity to invite @josepha, @mesola and @eliany to share their entries in this contest.
