Hello friends welcome to my blog and compliment of the season.
This is a picture of my sister and friends when they were on official duty out of their base. They had an interesting trip until they got to a place called Nembe and had to cross over to their final destination called Brass by boat; it took them over 2 hours on the water to get to Brass.
When they got to their destination it was late; they rested for the night to be strong for the next day's duty, which had brought them to the town. The day came for their duty; they worked well not until the people of the town became angry that they did not work in their favour. My sisters friends had stepped out to get something to eat when this argument of anger was going on, so my sister overheard them saying they were going to hold them Hostage.
Immediately, she carried her bag and that of her friends and sneaked out of the office to go meet her friends at the junction they went to get food. From there, they headed to where they boarded a boat that crossed them over back to Nembe. From there, they got a Bus that took them to Yenogeoa, the state capital.
While all this was happening, we got a TV broadcast that some people who went for official assignments were held hostage by people of the town, and that was where my sister went. It got us all sacred at home that my sister was there until we could get my sister on the phone and she told us how she was able to escape, and it gave us all a great relief.
But her other colleague was still back there in brass, where they were held until the Navy and Army went to rescue them the next day. They united with them in Yenogea, where they waited for them, and they all returned to base.
That journey gave my family a great scare but we were so happy my sister and her colleague came back strong and all alive. This picture reminds me of that day that made my family tense but later relieved and happy.
I am inviting @blessedbee, @woka-happiness and bela90
