Wat do you know about Santa Claus?
Santa Claus also traditionally known as father Christmas is an figure who is believed to bring gifts to children and also make their wishes come true. He is often represented as an old man with long white beards, wearing a red coat and a red hat who is always carrying a big bag full of gifts.
Tracing back to the origin of Santa Claus, he has been associated with Saint Nicholas often regarded as Saint Nick for a short form. Saint Nicholas is the patron Saint of children who is known for his generosity and the art of secretly giving gifts. The picture of Santa Claus and father Christmas have striking similarities therefore, both are now seen and regarded as the same individual.
What are the things you love to do if you were Santa Claus?
I've got a lot of things I would love to do if I were Santa Claus.
First, I will visit the orphanage homes to ensure that every child in that home gets a gift from me just to put smiles of their faces. I'll also requested they tell me their wishes. I will have a good time with them and ensure that we all dance till we can dance no more.
Secondly, I will also visit the disabled persons home. We sometimes tend to forget these category of persons when celebrating at festivities. So as a father Christmas', I will ensure that I visit their home to also present them with gifts and play different types of games with them.
Also, I'll visit the suburb regions to celebrate and distribute gifts to the less privileged in the community.
Share your experience if your were Santa Claus in last year's
The excitement of being Santa Claus last year was really an awesome thing to behold. I couldn't contain my Joy when I noticed how happy these kids were. They were so much happy dancing and playing games. I had a grand entry with some lovely Christmas songs being played. I wished that day never came to an end but of course, we have to round up the event and call it a day.
