Contest -2 | Share your fashion item which is outdated but you still keep it !

For me, I haven’t been the “one” who gets the first update on fashion each and every time. But my wife from my point of view has a particular liking for up-to-date fashion. But to be honest she is very careful not to be reckless with spending on fashion. So, I would like to tell the story not about me but about my wife.
She is a moderately fashionable person, she wears her necklace, her earrings, watch and wedding ring on daily basis. When she participates in various events, she also wears a bracelet in addition to the above jewellery.

I think that among her jewellery, her watch is a bit old-fashioned. These days there are many fashionable watches in the market. There are branded watches made of many materials like rose gold, stainless steel, or silver. But this gold-coloured watch is one she always prefers to wear. I have seen her intentionally check whether she put on her watch all the time we go out. Even when we go shopping.

She got that watch about four years ago from her mom to wear on her first day to work, that's why she likes it so much (so I believe). It seems that she can't live without my watch. It's like she hardly forgets to put on a dress without it. She once told me that she could also wear it on our wedding day. She likes it that much. Now it is a bit outdated and little old hence some fine scratches are visible here and there.

I believe that she has no intention of getting rid of her watch right now. Because there seems to be a very heavenly feeling like being with her mother. She often takes good care of this watch. It’s a lot of memories for her. So even though I bought her a new watch she hasn’t made up her mind to wear it on daily basis. It feels that even though it breaks down she might keep it in her closet for much longer.
