Contest: The Debate (Week 51); Prefer working in the office.

Hello dear friends, greetings from my end, special thanks to this wonderful community for another special contests, thanks to @sahmie for such an interesting contest topic too. Stay cool, relaxed and comfortable as you read through to the end word.

Which do you prefer: working from home or the office?

I would prefer working from home than working in the office but after much thinking and proper analysis, I am boldly saying that I prefer working in the office than working at home. As you read down you will read more points on the reasons why I would prefer working from home.

When you work from home there will be alot of distractions but in a situation whereby, you work in the office, your concentration will be at the office, hoping and wishing to finish up before going home to rest but working at home would definitely cause distractions.

Does working from home boost your productivity?

Working at home does not boost my productivity it would rather reduce my productivity because working at home is not always safe, children can mistakenly destroy or stain an important document that could leads to the success of the company or that your job.

Working at home makes one so lazy and might not attain that Hight of Excellence. Whenever an individual is in the confine of office environment, the thinking, imagination and working rate will definitely be different, in the office, there are no beds to lay down therefore, sitting upright will make an individual to work hard.

How does the office environment affect your mood?

It makes me very serious and commited to whatever I am doing, the environment alone will alert my senses that I needed to sit up and do the needful at a time. I can now say that the office environments affects me positively because it makes me serious and alert at every cost to clear up my table before closing hour.

Do you miss social interactions when working remotely?

Yes, I do miss it but when I am allowed to work in an office not going to places or other locations I always feel very safe and wouldn't miss that social part of my life with my dear colleagues at the office. Working remotely means working outside the office which I find it very difficult to interact socially with them.

What’s your ideal work setup?

My job is a loan giving job, we give our loan to small business owners as they remit on a daily basis. What is required in the job is to have a team leader, forming them in group and disbursing to their account, dependent on the packages they are going for. I made sure the team leaders make their repayments in due time too.
