Good day my Steemit friends, how are we all doing this great week. I believe we are all fine. Special thanks to @sahmie for organizing this wonderful contest where we have the opportunity to time travel and reflect, one thing is sure and that thing is that"The past beggets the future" Read on while I digest my points on whether to travel back to time or travel to the future to embrace my future self.
While the idea of time travel is undeniable intriguing,I am not sure to take the opportunity of traveling back to time, this is because after all what's the point of experiencing different eras if you can't make your mark on history?
Though it will be fascinating to witness the construction of the pyramids or the signing of the Declaration of Independence ,but I think I would rather leave my own legacy than simply observe the past.
Even with our present modern world convenience and technology,I am not sure if i am brave enough to face the challenges of living in a completely different time period being the past. All this being considered,I think I will stick to exploring the world as it is today why because there's still plenty to discover.
You can call me selfish,but I would rather do exactly what Biff did in Back to the future 2. But I wouldn't want to be a president like he did rather I would travel into the future,get a sports almanac,come back to present time and bet on games. I would just be richand have a nice life for myself and my family. Make few bets here and there, something that will pay big ,win some millions and chill for a few years then do it again.
I know it sounds crazy but that's what I would do if such opportunity comes,the past is never a good place to be as it reminds us of so many things which might trigger anxiety,so isntead of traveling back to time I would travel to the future to behold how wonderful it will be.
It's been said that the future holds good tidings,it will be a great opportunity for me to have a first hand information of what it holds for me and my family. Just imagine what it will look like that you know how your next 10 years from now will be like,I believe it be amazing at Least you will have the opportunity to correct some things before they happen.

Just like you sometimes I feel it's improper to think of the past because naturally or scientifically ability to go back in a real sense is impossible, possible only with a mind flashback. According to you, we should reflect on our past while dwelling in the now but reflect on the future because we have greater things to explore. I agree with you but to some extent, we witness a downfall today all because of our inability to know what we know today in the past. So I think if possible let me go back to the past with today's sense to explore to a new and better future. Goodluck @deprincedeman
