Greetings, ladies and gentlemen of Steem fashion and style, I am @destinedhanik. I'll be showcasing my drawing prowess in this contest of drawing a rose apple, and I'll be giving my best in this contest.

Step one
I drew the sides of the apple. I got this by drawing two lines a little bit curvy.

Step two
I added the head and bottom to my drawing.

Step three
I added two extra rose apples to make it three with the same shape.

I added the twig and the leaves of the rose apple to make it complete.

Step five
In my final step, I coloured my rose apple with red colour and the twig and leaf with green colour.

The Rose Apple is a popular fruit which originated from or is natively planted and known in Southeast Asia. It is from there some other countries got to plant it too. It is also known as water apple as it is known to be watery in the mouth when eaten. It is a fruit that is closer to guava and pear in terms of shape. It is known as the local apple in Nigeria and it is the only kind of apple that grows in Nigeria. The skin of the fruit is red tho sometimes it can be pink and the inside is pure white. The taste depends on how ripe it is, it can either be very sweet, moderately sweet or with a slappy taste. It can be eaten as fruit salad, made into wine and fruit juice. Just like other fruits, this fruits has lots of benefits.

• It is rich in vitamin A and C and these vitamins helps boost immune systems.

• It helps improve the health of one's heart.

• It helps in digestion.

• It contains antioxidants that helps in treating liver problems.

• This fruit reduces the rise of cancer.

• Due to the high percentage of water in it, it serves as a good source of body hydration.

• The fruit provides irons and vitamins which is very good for a pregnant woman.

In Nigeria, the perfect season for planting is between June and July which is the rainy season. During this period, the soul is moist and rose apple can be planted. Rose apple takes 2 to 3 years to bear fruit after planting.
