SFS Contest Week 2 | Drawing Contest | Draw A Hat/Cap | 10 Steem Prize Pool

in hive-126193 •  last year
Hi friends... how are you..? These days Sri Lanka has a mild climate. I believe that everyone is spending time in good health.

Today I'm adding something a little special to the Steemit platform. Although this is special for me, I think it will not be so special for the Muslim and Dravidian people living in the world. But for me, who is a Sinhala Buddhist, it is something new. Today I am going to compete in the Steemit platform with the contest title "🆕 Draw A Hat/Cap". For this contest, I am presenting today about the hat that Muslim friends living in our country often wear on their heads. The first thing I said is that this is something special for me because it is presenting facts about something different that is beyond my culture. Today I bring you an exclusive post about that hat.

Big thanks to my friend @Steem Fashion&Style who is a #MOD from #hive-126193 community who is hosting this contest.

A hat is a type of head covering worn on the head for various purposes, such as protection from the elements, fashion, or religious and ceremonial reasons. Hats come in a variety of styles, shapes and sizes and are usually made of a variety of materials including cloth, straw, felt or leather. These caps are manufactured in different shapes, sizes and colors according to human needs and preferences. Also, this hat is different for various reasons such as religious reasons. Today I am going to talk about some things about the Kufi hat and some other hats used by Muslims. From here we will discuss about it.

Muslims wear different head coverings based on cultural traditions, personal preferences and interpretations of Islamic teachings. Below I will mention some common types of head coverings worn by Muslim men and women.

The term "hijab" usually refers to the head covering worn by Muslim women. It covers the hair, neck and shoulders and the face is visible. Hijabs are manufactured in various designs and fabrics. This allows for individual expression and cultural diversity. Some popular hijab styles include the wrapped and fitted rectangular scarf, the al-amira, a fitted hat with the scarf draped over it, and the shaila, a long rectangular scarf draped over the shoulders. Muslims call this a very suitable dress to show the politeness and morality of women. It also has some other unique features.

Niqab is a face covering veil worn by some Muslim women. It covers the entire face except the eyes. Usually worn in conjunction with a hijab or headscarf. The niqab is common in the Arabian Peninsula and parts of South Asia. But its usage varies among Muslim communities. Recently, this has become a problem for the public. Since Sri Lanka is a relatively poor country, theft of goods and money started to become common. There, many different problems arose because of this Muslim hat that can be worn to cover the whole face. Many problems arose for the burqa of Muslims due to robberies by masked persons. But due to religious morals, Sri Lanka's justice and law enforcement departments were able to quickly resolve those issues.

Kufi is a small, cap worn by Muslim men. It is usually made of cloth, woven thread or knitted wool and is worn as a symbol of religious identity and modesty. Kufis come in a variety of styles and colors and are often worn during prayers, religious ceremonies or as a general part of traditional dress. Usually this cap is shaped like a hopper. When viewed from a distance, a hopper with a plant on its head appears as if its ears are turned. This Kufi hat is used by Muslims from childhood. This kufi hat was used as an integral part of a dress. This kufi cap is also known as prayer cap or skull cap. It is important to note that wearing headscarves is a personal choice for Muslims and can vary considerably between individuals based on their interpretation of religious teachings and cultural practices.

Additionally, there may be regional and cultural differences in the specific designs and names of headgear used.

Friends, this is the end of my post about Muslim hats. And @alegnita @sudaraka96 @mariami invite you to participate in this contest. Good luck to all my friends. Hope to meet you in another post.
