My favourite outfit
My favourite outfit for this week was my Sunday's outfit for church service. Usually, I wear choir uniform but for this last Sunday, it's one of the Sunday's youths are allowed to anchor the church service without the married ones, and so my reason for putting on this outfit.
The outfit is an Ankara material (African fabric). It has a black and fuchsia pink background well-designed to show its beauty. I used a matching headgear called turban here in Nigeria to wear the outfit.
The style of the sewing made for this outfit was copied on the internet, (Facebook) precisely. Though not the exact style, being a fashionable person, I added my own style to suit myself. I didn't completely like the original style, but I love some parts of the style.

Why do you like this outfit? |
---|
I love this outfit because:
The colour combination of the fabric suits my skin colour.
The style of the outfit is just a perfect one for an African woman like me.
The style of the outfit again is one of the new fashion styles in my country, Nigeria. It makes me fit into the current fashion world.
The outfit fits into my body suitably, making me look elegant and beautiful.
Wearing a comfortable outfit gives an extra boldness. Yes, the outfit gave me so much boldness because of its fitness on me.

The fabric was a friend's traditional marriage uniform. Because of the uniqueness of the material and the beautiful background of the dress, I decided to buy it from her.
My friend whom I bought this material from is based in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The marriage took place on the 28th August 2024.
The outfit was sewn and designed by my younger sister. Her name is Princess Nkoyo Jesus Etim. She is a fashion designer with many years of experience in her industry. She's also based in Uyo, Nigeria.
