SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 21

From the window of the hotel room, it was getting dark, I remembered that I had not bought any souvenirs to bring home, usually various types of processed chocolate that generally comes from Singapore is a typical snack to bring back from visiting Batam City. Therefore, I invited my colleagues to go to a supermarket called Top 100 which is a gathering place for chocolate snacks.

After getting so many types and shapes of chocolate, my heart was relieved and we were ready to go back to the hotel after about an hour of wandering around in the supermarket. Arriving at the hotel and putting away the boxes of chocolates, the urge arose to try visiting a cafe located on the 9th floor of the hotel called Full Moon Cafe.

This was our last night in Batam, and I thought it was worth celebrating as we had done well in our mission. So having dinner on the rooftop of the hotel with my colleagues was a special moment and worth remembering, where from up here there was a view of the cityscape and the night sky that emitted moonlight, very exotic.

The calm atmosphere of the night, the special dishes and the warmth of this togetherness inspired me to write a poem:

On a beautiful, moonlit night,
We stand together, understanding each other's meaning,
Friendship is the light in the dark,
Cooperation is a strength that never falters.

Our steps are united, though the world spins,
Hands clasped together, nothing is missed,
Together we tread a path full of challenges,
Because in togetherness, success is not a distant dream.

We know, nothing is unattainable with determination and passion,
Every effort is a shared footstep,
And every victory is a reflection of perfect cooperation.

How beautiful is the friendship nurtured by hard work,
The success we achieve does not belong to just one,
But belongs to all of us, who are united in a strong bond.

We smile, full of gratitude,
Because we know, together we can, and success is the light,
That continues to illuminate our path, never to be extinguished.
