"SACRIFICE"

INTRODUCTION

Sacrifices refers to something we gave up for the sake of a better outcome, especially for the love we have for them.
Sacrifices is one of the most difficult and painful thing in life that an individual has to go through in life, for another person to succeed.

• Who do we sacrifice for?

We make sacrifices for our loved ones for a better cause, is either a family member or friends, We sacrifice for them.
We also make sacrifices for our younger ones talking from the angle of eldest son or daughter,we had to make sacrifices for them to succeed especially academically, in a situation where our parents cannot afford to sponsor all of us in school some of us has to step down for our younger ones acquire the education instead.

We make sacrifices to people who we don't even know them, a man can be stranded and he requested for help, we tend to help by giving them our last penny for the sake of humanity.
So we make sacrifices in so many ways some through money by helping other people in need, some through denying our joy and passion for our younger ones to succeed while others to some deities for wealth and many more.

• Why is it important to sacrifice?

Is important to make sacrifices because it creates good relationships, in this regards it could be in a romantic relationship or even marriages, for some marriage to succeed all parties has to ensure they made sacrifices for peace, love and harmony in the family.

Sacrifices saves life: There are many cases where where a woman during labor she has to make sacrifices for that baby to born safe some even led to death for the baby to survive. God bless our women out there♥️.

Sacrifices is important as well because it open more doors of blessings around us because the little you gave,,,tend to open more blessings in hundreds folds to you.

• What sacrifices have you made in your life and why?

I am a classroom teacher and an entrepreneur I made sacrifices by using my little earnings to help in sponsoring my younger brother through schooling, and why because I want him to succeed academically, because the best you can offer to your child or anyone out there is education, so I find it great joy in doing that, though is never easy there are so many hardship but God is faithful.

Another sacrifices I've made is that by dashing out my android smartphone to a friend,I endure living without a phone for a period of months it's actually a tough one especially in this digital era and you don't have means of communication is a tough decision but I had to go through such process for the love I have for him because he need it more than I do I left with no choice.

• What is the original meaning of Sacrifice and what do we achieve by sacrificing?

The original meaning of sacrifice is a process of slaughtering an animal or a person or giving out a particular thing as an offering to a deity.

In the Bible we made to understand that Jesus Christ sacrifice himself for the love of humanity and for the forgiveness of sins so that through him all might be saved.

What we actually achieve by Making sacrifices is the forgiveness of sins, it bind us together with our Creator or deity which we are making the sacrifices to.

During the ancient years people offer sacrifices to their deity to appease the gods and for the forgiveness of their sins which they have committed.
But today reverse is the case rituals or sacrifices for wealth and splendor.
But what we generally achieve by sacrifices is the cleansing of our sin and to ask god for the forgiveness of sins.

We also tend to achieve total restoration with our god if our sacrifices are received and many more.
