Hello my fellow steemians, I still remain@inemesituwah. I was scrolling through the steem4nigeria community wall and I saw this wonderful contest. Me I love debate so much do I decided to be part of this wonderful contest.

Online shopping have some advantages, which includes

• Convenience: There will be convenience when Shopping from home and having what is being purchase delivered at your doorstep.

• Grocery delivery and pickup: A lot of grocery stores give online shopping with delivery or pickup.

• No sales pressure: Online shopping takes away the pressure from the sales representatives.

• Research and product reviews: Online shopping allows customers to research products, check different prices, and read the reviews.

• More variety: shopping online give access to a wider range of products and also their brands.

• No crowds: Online shopping takes away waiting in lines or queing and dealing with crowds.

• Send gifts to friends and family: Online shopping allows for easy movement to others.

• Better prices: Online shopping usually give lower prices due to lower overhead costs.

• Reviews and research: Online shopping accept access to a lot of product reviews.q

• Keep your purchases discreet: Products are transported in plain boxes with no label of contents.

• No pressure: Online shopping takes away high-pressure sales skills.

• Better record keeping: Online shopping gives email confirmations and also online records of purchases.

Returns and exchanges for online and in-store purchases differ in the following ways

Online purchases:

• Returns are usually done by mail
• it May give return shipping labels or allow customers to pay for the return shipping
• Refunds could be given after the returned item is received and checked
• Exchanges may be more compacted and need customers to place a new order

In-store purchases:

• Returns are usually done in person
• Exchanges could be done as soon as possible
• Refunds are usually given immediately
  Most retailers could give a more lenient return policy for in-store purchases than that of the online purchases.
  To make returns More simple, retailers can mechanize their return flow, mechanize exchanges, help CX teams mechanize return processing, offer many return methods, offer free return option, and also keep their return policy easy.

In Overall, in-store shopping gives a more immersive and interactive experience that can't be gotten online.

For me I prefer online shopping because of its flexibility, convenience and ability to avoid crowds and long lines queing.
But Other people prefer in-store shopping because of their tactile experience, instant gratification, and personal interaction with sales manager.

I know that some of you guys out there prefer the in-store shopping method with their reasons but as for me I prefer the online shopping method.

Yes I have some personal experiences both the positive and negative experiences which I will be sharing with you guys

Positive

The positive experience o have is when I ordered a pair of shoe from JUMIA being my first time, so I taught it will take a long time before delivery but within one and half day, the shoe I delivered arrived which I was very happy.

Negative

I went online to check for a particular good which I expected it to be at a low price but to my greatest surprise it was higher than I expected
