This is a true life story that happened to me, and despite what has happened in the past, I still thank God for where I am today. I was once a student of one of the prestigious universities in the southern part of Nigeria, studying a very nice course.
My problem started with the people whom I called my friends after my third year in school. Everything was going so well with me in the Campos, but some people weren't happy with the way things union were going so well with me as a student. I contested for student government (SUG) politics while in the school.
Things were going well for me during the campaign season in the school, but all of a sudden, my closet friends sold me out to my opponent and said things that I had never said nor done as a student, which was then used against me and led to my suspension in the student government affairs. It became a serious issue to the extent that I was invited by my head and faculty Dean, and a panel was then set to discuss my issue at the university.
I couldn't hold myself accountable for how my department resolved the issue, which was in favor of my opponent. Thereafter, In the next semester, I started seeing my performance going down, and I quickly noticed most of the lecturers teaching me never wanted me to progress in life. Based on everything that happened, I made a bold step: I bought JAMB, wrote the examination, and applied for admission to another school in the northern part of Nigeria today, everything is now a story that I am happy about.
The impact it had on you and what you learned from it.
My story has made me become a strong lady, self-sufficient, and vibrant lady. I have learned how to be mindful of the kind of people that I keep as friends and how I discuss with people.
I am inviting: @dave-hanny, @ruthjoe, and @vickson

You are truly brave. I do not support victimisation, so it feels good to see people make practicable steps to evade oppression. You would have dropped out but you didn't and I admire that. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
