Contest: The Debate (Week 35); Fiction Vs Non-fiction, Which genre provides a more enriching reading experience?

There are so many ways we can study or learn which can be the book fiction or the non-fiction way. I am happy that both ways are working for me and in this post, I have discussed what makes them to be different.

What book is Fiction or Non-fiction? What makes them different?

Simply put in this narrative: Fiction Book: means a narrative that originates based on the imagination of the author. For example, whatever I write that has never happened is a book fiction which is written based on my imagination. In a book fiction, the story is not based on facts or real-life events, but there can be a story that inspires an author to write.

On the other hand Non-fiction: means a story that represents real real-life events or factual information. This is the type of book that is written based on places, ideas, events actual people, or what someone has experienced in the past, and books like histories, essays, biographies, and so on are examples of non-fiction.

Fiction or Non-fiction: Which genre do you enjoy more and why?

Non-fiction is the genre that I enjoy most because it is the genre that I learn from. Fiction Book only makes me laugh and I would begin to imagine how what is said in the story happens, but in non-fiction, I do learn the life lessons of others which usually helps me to live my life better as an example of what I have read.

Which genre challenges your imagination: fiction or non-fiction?

Fiction is the genre that challenges my imagination. Whenever I read fiction books I will end up imagining the story how real it is and so on. Fiction Book usually comes to my mind whenever I have a dream or think about something.

Fiction is just like having an imaginary view of yourself, people, and the world at large. It is a genre that makes us think outside the box.

Is reading fiction an escape or a learning experience for you?

Reading fiction is a learning experience for me. Reading fiction exposes me to new things that I haven't heard before and makes me research more to have more ideas. There are some things that I haven't heard before, which I do get to hear about by reading fiction. So many movies are based on fiction.
