Yes, I know about SBD. It is an abbreviation for the word Steem Dollars and it is pegged to US dollars. SDB is the stablecoin that is used on the steem blockchain, which is pegged to the value of US dollars as introduced earlier. SBD is designed on the Steem blockchain to protect users' assets from fluctuations in price since cryptocurrencies are volatile assets.

SBD can be bought and sold from external exchanges that support SBD on the Steemit platform, SBD is used to reward creators, and users can convert their SBD for STEEM tokens via the Steemit platform or trade their SBD on external exchanges that support SBD.

As of the time of writing this post, SBD Debt Ratio is 8.838 % and the printing rate is 100.000 % SBD which is determined by the price of Steem. The reason why SDB is printing 100% is that the price of STEEM is above $0.28, therefore if the price of Steem should start dropping the printing of SBD will drop. However, SBD usually starts to print when the price of STEEM has stayed above $0.25 for a long.

The use of SBD on the Steem blockchain includes; rewards for content creators, post promoting, savings with interest, conversation to other currencies, and exchange trading. On the Steemit platform we usually trade SBD for STEEM which I have discussed how it has been done in the same post.

✅ How has the arrival of SBDs influenced the growth of the Account?

The arrival of SBDs is influencing the growth of accounts in such a way that a post of $6 that would have earned a user 6 STEEM and 6 SP will earn a user around 3 SBD to 4 SBD which based on the conversation of SBD to STEEM which is currently in the ratio of 1 SBD: 13.757 STEEM which you can see below 👇.

Now based on the few analyses, it is clear to us that the arrival of SDBs influenced the growth of accounts much faster because with 4 SBDs in a post of $6 a user will get to earn (4 * 13.757) 55.028 instead of earning 6 STEEM. With SDBs, more STEEMs can be generated.

✅ Briefly explain how to convert SBD to steem.

It is very easy to convert SBD to Steem using our Steemit wallet. To convert SBD to Steem visit your Steemit wallet sign in and follow the guidelines below 👇.

• Scroll down to "STEEM DOLLARS" and click on the drop-down of your SBD balance and select Market.

• From the market look for the Buy STEEM order and place your trade by entering the quantity of SBD just I have entered 1 SBD.

• Enter the quantity of SBD and click on BUY STEEM

• Confirm your order by clicking on Ok and wait for your order to execute.

In a situation where the price of STEEM fluctuates, above the market price at the time you place your order, it will delay your order which you can track under trade history, but in a situation where there are no fluctuations in price your trade will be executed immediately and you will receive the quantity of Steem in your wallet.

✅ Do you consider that it is better to receive rewards directly in Steem or do you prefer them in SBD? Why

I prefer my reward in SBD because receiving my reward in SBD will help me grow my account faster than receiving my reward in STEEM. Just as we have analysed is the key reason why I prefer them in SBD. However, to maintain the price of Steem or avoid inflation I would say I like the way SBD does come and go off.
