Prove yourself as the best artist for the week" competition organized by the Steem Fashion&Style Community.This beautiful competition is organized by steem Fashion&Style moderator.@dequeen mam .Thank you very much for organizing this beautiful competition.

✅ Explain what you draw in your own words.

I am describing what I drew according to the terms of the competition. I drew a picture of a Water Lily and colored it with colored pencils.

According to the second condition of the competition, the following items, usernames and dates are written below:

🟤A4 size paper
🟤 Pencil
🟤 Rubber
🟤 Colors pencils
🟤 Pencil cutter

STEP 1

To draw a water lily, I first drew a U, like the English letter U.Then I drew a line from the bottom of the U to the right and left, curving it upwards.

STEP 2

Then I drew two lines on both the left and right sides of the bottom.I drew a petal by drawing two lines from the right side and the left side downwards.

STEP 3

For the top petal shape, I drew two lines from the top of the U to the middle from both sides.Then I drew another petal in the middle by drawing lines from both sides upwards.

STEP 4

In the fourth step, I drew two more petals on the right and left to draw a water lily. Then, I slowly drew all the petals beautifully.

STEP 5

To draw the leaves under the water lily flower, I first drew a beautiful leaf design.Then I added the inner tips of the leaves. I made small marks with a pencil to make it look like there was water underneath.It can be seen that the water lily flower stands beautifully on the water.This is how I finished the drawing.Now it's time to paint.

STEP 6

I took colored pencils to color the water lily flower. Then I colored the lotus leaf with green paint.Once the leaves were painted, I tried to paint the underside of the lotus flower with a light green color to show that it had green petals.

STEP 7

Then I colored the petals with a light yellow-pink color pencil. When I was done coloring, I added a light red color.Finally, I wrote the name of the flower in Bengali below.

✅ How long did take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it.

It took me about 45 minutes to draw this picture. As I was drawing it, I was a little hesitant about how it would look.Still, I try, because success comes when you try.

I got the idea to draw the picture from YouTube. You can get help from YouTube for any kind of drawing.I did the same. As per the terms of the latest competition, I took a selfie with my drawing and shared it.
