Assalamu Alaikum steemian friends hope you all are well. By the grace of Allah I am also well. Today I'm back to participate in this wonderful contest organized by this community admin @ashkhan. The name of this wonderful topic is SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 16. So I started the story about it with a picture below.
The story is about a bean seller. Pan is the delicious food of the elderly people of Bangladesh. So I went to the city market in the rain. There is an old man selling betel under a canopy in a narrow lane of the city on a rainy day by the side of the road. Beside him, there is also a small plate of betel. Raindrops fall into small holes in front of his shop. The old man gazed at the road occasionally, soaking up every drop of incense. He had a cigarette in his mouth because he smokes.
In front of him some farmers are sitting with piles of green vegetables, papayas, tomatoes and gourds. Smiles on their faces, because the rain means an opportunity to sell fresh vegetables. A farmer brought many potatoes to sell. Customers are coming, some are buying vegetables, some are taking some time to walk towards the drink vendor. And vehicles are coming and going in the road. Running fast to escape the rain, honking occasionally.
Sometimes some people come and stop by the bean seller. The old man slowly sells betel. The rain, the noise of the city, the smell of vegetables and the fresh taste of the drink all come together to create a different moment where people, nature and city life come together.
From this story we can understand that old betel-sellers and farmers find joy in life even doing very simple jobs. You don't need anything big to be happy. Even small moments can bring joy in our life. Rain or shine, they continue their work. No matter what life is like, if you do your duty, success will come slowly.
In the story, shopkeepers and farmers continue their work in the rain, which conveys the message that we should be in harmony with nature. The noise of the city and the lifestyle of the common people blend together to create a real, vibrant environment. It is in this environment that we see the true form of life. Such a scene touched my heart so I captured it.

Sir, you beautifully captured a glimpse of everyday life in the city. Every picture has some inner story. In your picture in the heavy rain beside the roadside, the old man is selling betel leaves though it’s not the age to do this. This shows his financial condition and also his responsibility to his family. In Bangladesh, the farmer and the shopkeepers are always doing their tasks with quiet dedication no matter what the circumstances are. Yes, your picture brings a vast lesson to me that for getting happiness doesn’t require the grand things rather it can be found in the simplest parts of our daily lives. The depth of meaning your shared picture really touched my heart and thanks for bringing this thoughtful message for all of us.
