SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 27

This contest is just reminded me of some of the pictures in my gallery. You know, I usually take pictures at any moment but this particular one was so funny to me. What really happened and what really funny to me that day. You know there's always a reason behind a smile, right? Of course let me begin with mine.

I was bored as there was no sales in the shop. So I decided to tune on my radio. Hold on, it's not just a radio, I constructed this particular speaker which can play Bluetooth with phone, FM(radio) and memory card. The speaker is power by power bank. You only need to plug in to the power bank and it will on automatically. So I decided to tune on the radio to listen to music or new.

Luckily to me, there was a program is one particular station, channel 89.7 EKO FM, Lagos. I always tune in to their station as they share vibe and sometimes they talks about life and lifestyle. So the topic for the day was about secret. They question was ask: is is good to share your secrets to someone or your friends. A lot of people who listen to the program called to share their experiences about sharing secrets. Some of them share a disappointing experience as the person they trust turn them down.

The radio presenter share their secret on what they did back home when there were childhood. The first person started on how she usually stole and slim fit meat when no body was watching but unfortunately for her, she was catch by her mum. All of them were sharing their funny lifestyle living with African parents. They're secret was funny to me especially when they shared how they were punished for just act. I burst laugh when their story. On the second thought I knew there's that particular secret were afraid to tell someone even our friend.

Is it really necessary, from my opinion I think since it's a secret I might dicides to keep it if I know it not going to harm me either in the future. I see people keeping a secret about about their self because they fell like if they share it people might see the differently. But I think there's an extent to it. Here is one of the callers story and the secrets she discovered.

"I got married to my husband 2 years ago and were loving happily. Few months after our wedding my sister came to live with us for a while which we agreed after i discuss with my husband. Since she was my sister, we treated her like a family making her feels comfortable."

"One years later she got pregnant but when I ask about the father of the child, she said her husband lives abroad. My parents too said the same thing as the so- called husband would be sending money for upkeep. During the pregnancy I help her in everything until she delivered. After a year she got pregnant the second time."

"I was curious about who the husband is as he didn't even introduce himself to the family but my parents keep on telling me he will come. When it time to deliver, I went to the hospital with her but this time she couldn't birth natural and the doctor insisted CS as option."

"She was losing a lot of blood as she couldn't give birth, the doctor tried their best but no avail. As she could not hold it anymore she started begging me to forgive her. I was surprised as we're not fighting nor do I have anything against her. She revealed the secret her husband is responsible for the pregnancy."

"I was shocked not only about my sister deed but when I realized that my parents are aware of this but they kept it from me. So the so-called husband living abroad is my husband. That's the greatest shock I ever had. Now they are all begging me to forgive me or she might not be able to make it. What should I do?"

My mood changes immediately I heard the woman story. Why would someone keep this kind of secret, and why do her parents keep it from her. It was a very sad story and I pray the woman will be able to heal from the trauma. This is where I end my story for the day.
