If you look at it, this is a very important topic. The topic which looks simple is actually very difficult but still it is an interesting topic to discuss. So for this I congratulate my organization for organizing such a good contest .

Neither the heart is weak nor the mind, both are needed but it is the time which is tricky , "when we have to use our heart and mind??" . At home, we mostly use our heart and when we have to meet outside, we use our mind completely.

Still, sometimes such a situation arise at home or between our loved ones where it is very difficult to decide . Feels like we want to listen to our heart and then it seems right to listen to the mind. In difficult times, the thing followed by the mind is like a bitter medicine which does not feel good at all while taking it but it benefits us after going into our body and makes us healthy. Similarly, by taking decisions with the mind, we get a very good response in the future.

Heart and mind both are equally important but still I would prefer to take advice from the mind, because the heart is fickle. Heart is emotional and innocent. Heart doesn't understands the tricky world . It just goes behind what's good and pure . It does not know what is right and what is wrong , it just knows emotions and feelings . It just tells the person to accept whatever it wants at that time, while the mind knows whether this will be beneficial or harmful in the future.

Many times or mostly the advice given by mother is pretty accurate but when we take any decision after thinking deeply and understanding then that decision also ends up right. Decisions made wisely are like fragrance which blooms .

God has also said in many places that take decision with mind, therefore mind has got a place above heart in our body. We use heart only for fulfilling small needs of children where it is used for convincing such advice where there is no benefit or loss or if there is loss then it is very small due to which the it does not have any effect in future .

Like if the child demands a toy or clothes which we can afford then we should get it for him, here we should listen to heart and not mind that if he plays the toy once and it breaks then what will happen.

So in case of children the decision taken from heart brings children closer to us but on big and important issues we should always listen to mind, if we listen to heart then we will get cheated in many places whether it is at home or outside . My mother has listened to heart a lot after her marriage and has also been cheated a lot by it.
