Step 1

Firstly, fold your fabric into four, a triangle-shaped. Place your tape on a triangle measuring 6 inches all round.

For the second part, you can measure your head size as well.
Fold your fabric into 4, then calculate 22 inches divided into 4. It will give you 5.5inches. From where you measure 5.5inches, start from there, measure 4 inches down. Now go back to where you measured 5.5inches and cut it off.
That, 5.5inches, is the head while the other side is the part where you join together with the cycle.

Step 2

After that, you use that same fabric and cut facing. If your fabric is not enough, you can use a lining and cut the facing, but I prefer using the same fabric.
After that, get your Warden and place it on the fabric and iron after ironing. You will only sew the head part with the facing, turn and iron it.

Now, place the cycle fabric on the facing and sew all round. If there is excess, you trim it out.

step 3

Join one cycle and the other cycle together. After joining it, get a piece of fabric sew it like a rope, close the up part and insert some piece of fabric so that it will tick.
Mark center, get a needle and thread, place the tool in the center and tag it round.

Get your gum and pals design your barret.
You can use it without a design on it. It's your choice.
Your barret is ready, you can use it for English wear, native wear, trousers, short skirt and top e.t.c.
