SFS Contest Picture of the Day

Hello, Steemians from all over the world. Greetings to you all. I trust you all feel blessed and super fantastic. To the organizer of this contest @ashkhan thank you for coming up with such an amazing contest🙏🙏

In today's post, I will be sharing with you all my picture of the day, and I will equally tell you the amazing story behind the picture. I know you all will find it very interesting to read through.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @hive-126193, @pandora2010 and @bigsam100 to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read from your entries.

Pictures are a beautiful way of keeping memories, and I personally loves taking pictures alot. So in my post today I will show you one out of the numerous pictures on my gallery as the picture of the day.

Picture of the day

I was unable to write jamb the same year I wrote waec because of one issue and the other. But I was able to register for jamb the following year, but was unable to write simply because I was very sick the day I was supposed to go and sit for the jamb examination, so I missed the examination because of my health.

Few months later, the same year. A professional institute was brought to my home town, and the persons who came to open the institute visited the local government where my Dad works, the talked to my Dad and his other colleagues about the new development that is coming to my hometown i.e the professional institute.

When my Dad returned home that day from work, He told me about the professional institute and asked me to go for the school exams since I was unable to sit for my jamb. I wrote the school entrance examination and few days later I was sent a text message that I passed the entrance exams. Immediately I got the text message, I told my Dad and the entire family about it and everyone was happy for me that I was able to passed.

A month after the exams, the registration process started, so my Dad gave me the money for registration, I went to the school, did registration and started attending lectures. In two months time our matriculation took place and all the newly admitted students including myself was successfully matriculated.

When I started the school, alot of rumors was coming that the school was fake, it wasn't accredited, and the also said that I will not graduate, that the government will soon come and close down the school, all sort of fake rumors was coming just to discourage me but I stood firm.

I turned deaf ears to all the rumors because I personally made research about the school and I was fully convinced that the school was accredited and is globally recognized before I started the school. Because I was so sure and knew what I was going into,the rumors did not shake me at all.

I concentrated and focused on my studies, I did 100level to 400level and finally I signed out to the Glory of God. On the sign out day, I took a whole lot of personal pictures and I also took some pictures with my school mates in order to keep memories alive. I was filled with immense joy on my sign out day.

The sign out day was so fun, exciting, amazing and a memorable moments in my life. Because I was able to stand all the challenges and rumors coming from both family members and outsiders. I stood strong, studied hard and graduated well. I return all the glory to God because my tertiary institution journey was not an easy one, but finally I made it!!!
