There is a very popular saying in our country that pictures speak louder than words. That is, a place can be presented through a picture more than it can be presented through writing. I would like to thank the respected admin @ashkhan once again for organizing the presentation of that place through his contest.
A few days ago, I visited Panar City, which is part of the Narayanganj district. Panam Nagar is a historical and archaeological city, which is currently being managed by the Archaeology Department. This city was founded about 700 years ago. Originally, this city was a residential area of the elite family.
This very neat and clean city has a touch of modernity. It is said that the architectural design here is a combination of Mughal, Sultan, and European culture. The modern design can still be seen. Along with domestic tourists, foreign tourists also come here to travel.
They also get satisfaction by visiting this ancient city. Not only is there a beautiful environment inside the city, but the shops outside the city also have a collection of all the charming beautiful items. To present the local culture to everyone, the shops have handmade rickshaw vans, Nacksi hand fans, crocodile toothcombs, and many other items as symbols of tradition. Also, beautifully designed hand bangles, necklaces, earrings, and many more. The visitors who come here like these things with great interest and buy them.
The whole environment is very charming. I and two other friends who came with me spent the whole day wandering around and enjoying the beautiful scenery in this beautiful environment. When we entered Panam City, it felt like we had entered a prehistoric era. But when we looked at their architecture, their modern thinking fascinated us.
Again, we were impressed by the way the shops located in front of Panam City were conducting their business by presenting the local culture. I was even more surprised by the very gentle behavior of the shopkeepers here. They explained each handicraft to us in simple language.
I took several pictures of this joyful moment to increase my experience. From there, I presented a few pictures for today's contest.
