First of all, a hearty welcome to all of the Steem Fashion & Style community's friends. With Allah Almighty's blessings, I pray that all Steemians will be safe and sound. I'm taking part in the competition today that @pea07 apu is hosting. [Contest] My Skill Is My Power || Season-19. Everyone has some level of skill. Since I usually share drawing posts, I decided to craft something new today. I love to read books but sometimes forget to bookmark them so I thought I would make a bookmark craft for myself by participating in today's contest. which will be useful when I'm done reading the book anyway.

A bookmark is a small marking device, usually composed of fabric, leather, or card, that is used to record a reader's progress through a book and make it simple for them to go back to where they left off with their last reading session.

🎨Step 01🎨

First I cut the paper into 13cm*7cm. I have cut it slightly bent in the upper part and kept the bottom part parallel. Then I drew a border around it with the help of a pencil.

Now I have drawn a blossoming lotus in its inner part along with two lotus buds and leaves.

Then I Cut out the extra surrounding parts of the lotus flower printed on the bookmark with an anti-cutter and gave it a new shape

In this step, we applied brown watercolor to the border section.

After painting the border I painted the lotus flower leaves and parts of the bottom of the lotus buds using green and dark green colors. Next, I made a thin border around it with the help of a dark green color. And used green and orange colors for the inside of the blossom lotus flower.

Last but not least, I painted the lotus buds and blossoms pink and around them dark pink.
