SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 3

Good day, my fellow ladies. I hope you guys are doing well. I am very happy to participate in this contest. Tell your story. Thank you @ashkhan for organising this wonderful contest.

A beautiful day and moment to always remember

This was the day I went to Abuja for ANC (all nurse conferences), which are for only government workers. I not have been to the conference before. The doctor or the owner of the hospital are to choose who will go or not.

So since I was made the senior nurse in the hospital where I am working, the doctor had to choose me and some of my colleagues for the conference.

Guess what? When I was picked for one of those who would attend the conference, I was very happy and excited because that was my first time being picked for the conference.

I went home happy. When I got home, I disclosed the news to my family. They were all happy that Mummy will take them to Abuja, but I told them I was going only me. My lastborn insisted that he would follow me, and he even started crying.

I told him to stop crying, that he is now a grown boy, and to promise to take him to Abuja during Christmas 😛😛.

After discussing with my family, I went inside and started arranging my clothes, shoes, jewellery, and wig for the event.

It is a conference for big nurses, so I must dress nice for the conference.

The following day or the day of the conference. I woke up early in the morning, did my duties as a mother, and also prayed to God for a safe journey.

After dressing in my nice and beautiful dress, I quickly went to my hospital. We are going to the conference with our hospital bus.When I got to the hospital, our car was about to leave. I quickly entered the car, and we moved on.

Upon entering the gate of the place, the compound, surroundings, and house were more beautiful than expected.

The car dropped us off, and we entered the main conference hall. Trust me, I was walking like a queen. When I ever see this picture on my phone, I will remember how I was walking like a princess.

We all entered the hall, and there were some different nurses from different hospitals. I also saw my two classmates; they were all shining.

Both men and women were present in the meeting. I even saw a white person; I went and greeted him. He responded in a good way and even told me he was from Nigeria.I was very shocked to hear that, and I didn't mind asking him a lot of questions. I used my mind to guess what had transpired.

A few minutes later, we started the conference. When the executives were talking, I was making sure to write everything down, and I didn't miss any points.

After the meeting,they gave us chilled drinks and foods; you just have to choose what to eat and drink.

After eating, they gave us 30k each for transport. They really did well.

We prayed and dismissed the conference. My hospital driver took us back to our various homes.

I really enjoyed this day.

This is a day I will never forget. I used that 30k to complete my children's school fees.

I am now going to many conferences, but this particular conference was my first and happiest.
