Hello.
This is my first article in this community. While I was browsing, I saw the competition about our local clothes and I wanted to participate. I live in Turkey. There is a lot of local clothing in my country. I can say that we are a very rich country in terms of cultural heritage. However, I would like to talk about the most used local dress in my country.
First of all, the name of our cultural dress that I will talk about is bindallı. It is an outfit similar to a caftan. It has come to the present day from the Ottoman period and still continues. Although mostly red and burgundy colors are preferred, these colors can change in different cities. Bindalli; It was used as a wedding dress in the Ottoman period. Today, it is used only in the pre-wedding henna night of women who are going to get married. You can think of henna night as a bachelorette. It is usually arranged to bid farewell to the woman to be married for her last night at home and to bring luck in her marriage by applying henna on her hands. In this ceremony, the bride-to-be wears ** bindalli ** when henna is applied to her hands.
Although it is worn only in the farewell party before marriage, sometimes local ceremonies are held and these clothes are also used there. It is used in folk dances, especially in historical ceremonies.
Of course, like everyone else, the local dress of my country is special and unique to me. I mentioned that our local clothes are from the Ottoman period. At that time, the Ottomans had a great history. They were very good at fabrics and clothes at that time, so it is possible to come across the breeze of these clothes in different countries.
The price of local clothing varies according to the quality of the fabric and most importantly, the embroideries on it. The expensive ones are usually those decorated with hand embroidery. I wanted to convert two prices to my business, both expensive and convenient.

I am happy to introduce the cultural outfit available in my country. That's why I want to thank the people who started the event. Because thanks to them, we will learn many different cultures and their clothes. It's my favorite part of steemit. There are people from all over the world gathering here and promoting their cultures. Thanks to them, we learn new things and have new experiences.

Wow That sounds fascinating! Can you tell me more about the local dress of your country during the Ottoman period? What were some common styles or materials used? And how has it evolved over time to become what it is today.
