This week we celebrate Maslenitsa. It's coming to an end on Sunday. I want to tell you with what love the holiday is celebrated in the kindergarten that my daughter goes to.

In our kindergarten, Maslenitsa is celebrated with great fun and joy! This holiday is filled with laughter, games and, of course, delicious pancakes. On the eve of the holiday, all the teachers and children were preparing for this day, because Maslenitsa is not only a farewell to winter, but also a meeting of spring.

When the long-awaited day came, groups of children gathered in a circle. The smiles on the guys' faces were big, and their hearts were full of expectation. The teachers told the children about the traditions of the holiday, how to spend the winter noisily and cheerfully. The children listened with delight, because each of them knew that there was a lot of interesting things ahead of them.

After everyone got acquainted with the history of Maslenitsa, the teachers led the group to the kindergarten kitchen. It was there that the most magical thing happened — they showed how to cook pancakes. The children watched with wide-open eyes as the flour turned into dough, and the dough into hot, ruddy pancakes. Every pancake removed from the pan was like a little miracle. The smell of fresh pancakes filled the kitchen, and the guys couldn't wait to try them.

The teachers shared with the children not only recipes, but also a piece of their love and warmth. They explained how important it is to cook with joy, because then the dish turns out to be especially delicious. The children, imitating the adults, were happy to help by mixing the products and watching the process.

Then everyone had a real pancake party together. There were pancakes, cottage cheese, honey, jam on the table — there were a lot of treats, and everyone could choose what they liked. The children shared their impressions, laughed, and complimented the teachers on such delicious pancakes. At that moment, everyone felt how important it was to be together, to share joy and love.

After the meal, games and dancing began. The children competed to see who could spin a pancake faster in a frying pan, and then they sang funny songs about Maslenitsa together. It was a real celebration of friendship and fun.

Thus, Maslenitsa in our kindergarten is not just a holiday, but an opportunity to feel the warmth and care that educators give to their little charges. Thanks to holidays like Maslenitsa, children learn to appreciate traditions, make friends and enjoy every moment. Educators convey their love to children and create an atmosphere where everyone feels happy and needed.
