Did you know about sbd or is it something new to you?
Steem based dollar, otherwise known as SBD, to many steemians is not something new to me. I knew about this when I joined steemit, precisely June 2021. SBD and steem power along with TRX were what was usually used to reward content creators and curators get rewarded with steem power.
✅ How has the arrival of SBDs influenced the growth of Account.
The arrival of SBDs provides a stable store of values to people in the platform when converting our token into steem the value is much compared to when it was just steem and steem power.
It motivates me to strive harder in producing high-quality content and not to be inactive because earning is back.
I get real value for my hard work with the arrival of SBD.
The arrival of SBDs gives me the confidence to invest in my account with confidence without thinking otherwise.
Briefly explain how to convert SBD to steem.
Here is how to convert SBD to liquid steem
Step 1
Login to your wallet and go to where you see steem dollars and from there you will see the amount of SBD as you have as seen in my screenshot below.
Click on the drop down arrow to start the conversion process.
Step 2
Here in step 2, you are going to click the dropped down arrow ⬇️ . There you will see transfer, transfer to savings, market and trade.
You will choose market just as I did in order to convert the SBD to steem.
Once you click on market, you will see another box which is below in step 3.
Step 3
Here in step three, it shows the number of steem available and if you dont want to convert all, you can choose the number you want to convert by putting it in the appropriate space provided for it.
Step 4
In my case, I wanted to convert all the SBD that I had to liquid steem so I click on the available SBD and as you can see, I am converting everything and that gives me 4.276 in total. And I clicked on buy steem for the SBD to be converted to steem.
To buy the steem a password of the account was requested in my case.
I put my password as required in the box above and successful convert SBD to liquid steem as shown below.

Do you consider that it is better to receive rewards directly in Steem or do you prefer them in SBD? Why
Well, this depends on individual differences, as for me, I prefer to receive my reward in SBD and in steem Power rather than just steem because it gives greater returns.
