Comedy is a form of art geared towards entertainment and happy ending with the sole aim of putting smiles on the faces of the reader or the listener. While Drama is a form of art that involves acting and story telling with the sole aim of entertaining the crowd and passing an information. Drama can be written in acts and scenes and it can also be displayed in the theater. Drama usually has characters which are the actors and actresses which interpret the roles.

Drama is very intriguing as it usually has suspense and uncertainty which keeps viewers glued to their screens or the book. Drama usually has a story line with the main aim of passing an information and educating the audience. There is always something to learn at the end of a drama or play. We have types of drama which is the tragedy,comedy and tragi-comedy. Tragedy is usually a drama with a sad ending.
Comedy is a drama with an happy ending.
Tragi-comedy is a play with a happy beginning and a sad ending.
In all this form there is usually a message to be passed and something to learn, it is usually written in acts and scenes.

Comedy is usually for entertainment and to put smiles and excitement in the faces of the audience. Most times there is nothing to learn but just for the sake of entertainment. Most times comedy is usually used to spice up our day and cause excitement.

I prefer drama because there is always something to learn at the end of the play and I love learning lesson each day because I'll apply it in my daily life. Drama has a lot of advantages over comedy, I feel comedy is just for the excitement of the moment its necessary because we need to be smile and forget our problems but I'll still pick drama over comedy.
