My harvested turmeric

Turmeric is a natural plant that can be added to food or taken in liquid form. Below are the health benefits for hair and the skin:
HAIR:
• Turmeric can help reduce hair fall by improving scalp health and promoting hair growth.
• It can help fight dandruff due to its anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties.
• It can help control oil on the scalp due to its astringent properties.
SKIN:
• Helps reduce blemishes.
• Turmeric helps in healing wounds.
• Helps fades skin scars.
• Contains anti-aging properties.
• Brings out the glow.
• Moisturizes dry skin.
• Helps brighten dark spots. Dark spots and dark under-eye circles are very normal but can be difficult to get rid of.
• Helps treat stretch marks.
Basically, I take turmeric when I cook rice, depending though. I grate it and put in the rice as it cooks. Also, I prepare it for my parents almost every day. What I do is, grate some amount of turmeric, ginger, and garlic, and then boil some water to make it hot.

They drink the juice leaving the chaff in the cup. The good thing is that it has actually helped my parents as their skin do not crack but keeps glowing. I cannot say the same about myself, which I’m not proud of. But then, I try as much as I can to include it in my meals.
The hair growth part is what I cannot really tell, but we have beautiful and thick hair.
Many people do not know the health benefits of turmeric, and as such are losing out on the nutrients it provides. I hope this would give you a little idea about turmeric, and help you use it wisely.
