Texture Your Builds | Minecraft

Hello everyone, when we play Minecraft for the first time, normally the first thing we do is throw block everywhere to adapt to the game and we usually make constructions that not even our puppy would live there. as we become familiar with the game and begin to use it. All the resources that we are finding we begin to become experts in construction, very well that is what we believe but the reality is that there is a way to make our constructions more pleasant in view of all that enter, Build the Earth in its last video shows how to give this touch of texturing to your work.

Shy Guy 6599 tells us in the video that mixing and gradient makes our construction have that touch of professionalism and that our works look more similar to the original work, to texture a work there are several levels such as MIXES, GRADIENTS, SHAPES.

Mixes: When we mix two or more blocks we can give a smooth texture to our construction as we are mixed we are adding new techniques to our repertoire of constructor in the video shows an example how a house in London uses a combination of blocks.

Gradients: To use a variation of elements as I will show in the image below we can give a gradient to our construction and give the feeling that it is in poor condition although in reality it seems difficult but it is not, as you can see on the roof of this building you can notice the combination of box blocks that gives the texture that the constructor needs.

Shapes: When we start to build, the first thing we have to think about is what shape we want our construction to have and what texture we can use so that it is to the liking of our visitors, when we think of building a super farm we imagine a beautiful meadow with some ducks and a great construction but when we finish building the safest thing we will see is this.

It is not very encouraging to see how our construction finished, but if we apply some blending and grading techniques we can create a good farm with that professional touch that we need. Shy Guy 6599 shows us below so we can distinguish when we use a bad block mix where the mix doesn't contract very well. as we can see in the image below.

Seeing this reminds me a lot when I used to play Bomberman on my Nintendo, in this case Shy Guy 6599 tells us that to have a good texture we should not use more than two blocks because he says that it is very rare that so many blocks are combined in a single mixture . Although in the image below you can see that using several gray blocks can work.

The most important thing as we have said before is the texture that we can give to our construction, if you want to work creating a church you have to fix the texture that it has, normally we can see change of colors in the construction either because it is dirty or the paint is old To give it that realistic touch, we must use various color combinations such as brick or blocks similar to construction, also wooden blocks, gray terracotta, brown granite and hardened clay as I show in the image.
