This post is in recognition of the build the earth construction hunt: a contest for builders and viewers by @cmp2020. I can't help but mention how fun and incredible participating in this contest has been for me. Anyways, here is the Minecraft video I'd be doing my narrative on:

The video is sourced from the build the earth YouTube channel. (Be part of the community on YouTube by clicking on the provided link!). It involves the construction of four popular commune/cities in France, in grand 3D details and illustrations,as well as, a famous Monument in the French capital, Paris. Now let's begin the Minecraft tour of France!

ST MATHIEU

St Mathieu is the name of a beautiful commune in west central France. The original inhabitants of this beautiful commune are called mathuseens. And I think that's pretty cool, isn't it? The commune is most known worldwide for its natural reserves which has garnered a whole lot of tourist attraction to her shores. And one of these attractions is illustrated in the minecraft video thus:

This depicts the various crystal blue lakes at St Mathieu. Tourists enjoy recreative games such as fishing, swimming, kids games and host of other activities there. The modern civilization of this commune was showed also in the blocks of houses and roads,as the user constructs using bricks

TURENNE

This is another commune in the western region of France and it's known popularly for its remarkable height and landscape,which is basically positioned at the top of a cliff. This is exactly showcased in the video.

Also, the beautiful streets of Turenne were flawlessly detailed in the video. Blocks, arranged in three dimensional grid to create buildings, alongside the doors and glasses. The user went further to highlight the entrancing glamour of this city by creating flowers on the walls. Did you know that Turenne is one of the most beautiful communes in France ?

QUIMPER

Quimper is a gorgeous and breathtaking city in northwest France. The user displayed an incredible creation of modern city houses erected on asphalt roads using 3D blocks. The most significant attempt here, is the creation of the Saint Corentin cathedral in Quimper. The projection showcases a lifelike illustration of the twin spires, typical of the stunning french gothic cathedral.

NANTES

Just as Quimper, Nantes is also located in the northwest region of France. It is one of the largest cities in France and therefore can be considered as a metropolitan city. This is observed in the video through the users creation of multiple blocks of buildings including skyscrapers.

The user however pulled off a stunning effort by displaying these skyscrapers through an aerial view, producing an attractive build.

ARC DE TRIOMPHE

An extra catch is the construction of the arc de triomphe in the video. This creation was my personal favorite in the video and I think it was constructed perfectly. The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris, the capital of France. The words mean "Triumphal Arch of the Star". I think this has to be the most difficult structure to build due its numerous details. The user did a good job with vertical and horizontal blocks here, the entire structure of the monument was depicted as if it's in real life and that's what the build the earth project is all about.

Anyways did you know that a Minecraft build can take up to weeks, months and even years to be constructed?

That's mind boggling right!

This depends on how voluminous and detailed the replica structure is. This goes a long way to explain how much effort has been put into this amazing video and thousands of other builds out there, which should afford nothing more but intense and burning appreciation / gratitude for creativity.
