Today I am going to tell you all the true story of a big and ancient banyan tree in my village. The story of this tree starts from 16th century. When our elder Hazrat Baba Qutbuddin Chishti (may Allah have mercy on him) from Pakpattan city They migrated and settled in a plain area of Okara district and this village is today known as Chishti Qutb-ud-Din. When our elder Hazrat Baba Qutbuddin Chishti came here, there were herbs and desolation everywhere. There were a total of three families with Qutbuddin Chishti. Hazrat Baba Qutbuddin Chishti (may Allah have mercy on him) after some time he built a cave a short distance away from this village where he kept cattle. Hazrat Baba Qutbuddin (may Allah have mercy on him) planted a banyan tree on his cave. When he returned home The next morning he saw that someone had uprooted the banyan tree and turned it upside down. As usual, when he reached the cave in the morning, he saw that someone had uprooted the banyan tree and turned it upside down. This matter continued like this for many days. He would straighten the banyan tree of Hazrat Baba Qutbuddin Chishti and the next morning. That plant is found upside down. When you find out what is the matter and who is the person who uproots the banyan tree every night and turns it upside down. On finding out, it is found that Panjripur is a short distance from here. There is a village and that village belongs to Bedi Sikhs. Every night a Sikh would come from there and upside down the banyan tree. Hazrat Baba Baba Qutbuddin Chishti (may Allah have mercy on him) prayed to Allah that the banyan tree should grow upside down. The prayer of Rehmat-ul-Allah Alayh will be accepted and the banyan tree will grow upside down. The roots of this banyan tree are outside and are hanging down from the branches. You can also see in the pictures you can see its roots hanging outside. Will be seen.
It is about five hundred years old. This banyan tree became so big that it spread over an area of two kanals. Then with the passage of time due to winds and weather conditions this tree fell victim to decay but even today it is quite big. There is a tree.
