Hello STEEM LIONS Community Friends,
Adenium obesum, also known by its botanical name, is also known as the desert rose and the Japanese Temple. The plant is endemic to arid climates and is found in abundance in South Africa and the Arab world. There are a large number of varieties of adenium that produce flowers with a single petal as well as flowers with several petals and flowers of different colors. The hybrid Adenion, which is in great demand as a potted plant, is mostly imported to Sri Lanka from Thailand. This costs a huge amount of money annually. But we can produce locally grown adenium tax plants which have the same quality as imported plants. This is done by grafting hybrid varieties to the receptor plants obtained from the seeds. Under normal conditions, adenium spikes are rarely obtained from flowers, but adenium spikes can be obtained by artificial pollination of flowers.

👉Pollination of flowers and planting of seeds👈
During pollination one flower is needed to get the pollen and another flower is needed to deposit the pollen.
First, a finely cut knife or blade is used to open the pollen.
Then take a toothpick or a toothpick and separate the pollen from the flower. It is best if the toothpick or toothpick used for this is slightly damp.
The reserved pollen should be deposited on the stigma of the selected flower. For that you need to cut a small side of the flower and open it.
The bully is then held in place on a toothpick or toothpick and rubbed on the underside of the open flower stigma. Now close the open part of the flower and stick it with the help of gum tape.
After a few days the flower fades. If pollination is successful, spikes emerge from the stalk. The resulting pods gradually enlarge. After three months, the ovaries can be fertilized.
