What's knee OA? Write in your own words after gating knowledge from the lesson post.

Osteoarthritis is a condition in the human body in which the protective cartilage on the barrier surface of the joint of the bone structure of the body, which is the articular cartilage, is damaged or torn for some reason or can be injured. This may cause the surface portion of the bone under the membrane to become exposed or be painful. When this problem becomes serious day by day, it slowly increases in damage. And people's movements tend to be difficult.

Osteoarthritis (Generative Arthitis) ages, the problem starts in the berries of the body parts of the whole body and eventually arthritis changesThis frictional problem causes pain signals in the nurves, the inflammation of the cartilage that causes pain problems. And the pains that arise for this are the pain of Austrian arthritis. This arthritis we could call primary arthritis.

There are also some arthritis that we can tell you the causes, such as accidents, or arthritis can be secondary even if there is an infection for some reason.

On the one hand, if the pain is more, then that side starts to deteriorate and those two start to bend, and on the other hand, if there is more pain, it can go in the opposite direction due to loss.

Bending the knee or not being able to fully open the knee or sitting with a crooked hand are signs of advanced osteoarthritis.

Most 85% of people aged 70 to 80 are likely to develop arthritis changes.
50-year-old female is most likely because the sex hormone in women acts as arthritis against protection, but women tend to withdraw this hormone during menopause. Then its protection ends and women start to change a lot.
If we talk about the Asian population, this arthritis is most common in the knee and most women or women or men develop knee pain, while Western population causes arthritis of the hip joint.

How would you diagnose a knee OA? Any clinical investment or assessment tests?

A few days ago, when I suddenly broke my knee, my leg hurt right between my knee or when I fell high and low while walking, my knee hurt. When going up and down the stairs, it was difficult to step down, especially when I went down the stairs, it seemed that there was a pull on the knee, the sound was. When I sat in a car or somewhere angling my knee, I could see how I couldn't sit for more than two minutes and it hurt immediately.

The pain that he did in a moment could not be tolerated but the pain never lasted. I sometimes gave hot sheaths and took paracetamol tablets. It was seen that the pain would go away immediately and whenever I went to sit, the knee would angle and the pain would start again. When the knee hurt, I felt a lot of space. I sometimes treated the photo of hot water. Then when I saw that it was more painful to walk.

Then I went to a physical medicine and rehab habitation consultation for treatment. He examined some of me. After blood test, x-ray report he prescribed me some medicine and some therapy.

He suggested me knee therapy for 15 days and showed me some exercises to keep doing the exercises.
Then with 15 days of physiotherapy and exercise my knee pain is much better now.

I showed the reports of prescriptions and diagnoses that the PMR consultant had given me-

Try to practice at lead 4 exercises that you have learned from the lesson. Share images, gifs or videos while practicing.

First I am doing this exercise by leveling my legs and putting the pressure of my feet and fingers forward and putting pressure between my knees, I will count 10 seconds while doing it and I will do the second exercises first one leg later and a towel for pressing below my knee. I will give. How do I do this exercise ten times.
Strengthens knee isometric and hip muscles, helping to reduce knee swelling and knee pain. And this exercise is done to increase quadriceps muscle.

I exercised in both sleeping and sitting conditions

With this exercise I got a lot of relief from knee pain as well as my back pain.

I don't know how I do this exercise while lying in bed, I will first pull one leg and then the second leg slowly towards my stomach, then I will press both knees with both hands and put pressure on my knees, so as pressure will be needed on my knees. Feel enough pressure on my stomach.Folding back once forward with both hands holding both legs made me feel a lot of pressure all over my body.

Moreover, doing this exercise cures a lot of back pain, which is because the stomach and waist feel a lot of pressure while trying.
I did it 10 times for 10 seconds

Hill slide exercise

Lie down and exercise should first lie on the bed with one leg angled. Then pull the legs forward once and backward once in ten seconds I will do this exercise ten times in the same way I will exercise the second leg.
After doing this, the grief around my knee will be stronger. I will feel less pain while walking. Moreover, doing exercise will reduce my back pain a lot

Knee Isometrics (Hip Abduction & Addiction)

First I lay on the bed with both legs angled and fried with lightning and put both hands on the stomach with a pillow under the waist. Then the two knee bands on the knee should fall together and then release the two legs immediately again. In this way I did this exercise 10 seconds and 10 times before.

As a result, the muscles around the knee will be stronger than the back pain and much more relief from the pain.

exercise relieved me from a lot of back pain and knee pain and I did the exercise three times.

Share your review after perfecting theses exercises either on healthy indicative or patient.

The exercise that was shown to improve knee isometrics and hip muscle strengthening and increase quadriceps ability was a really very beneficial exercise. After I created I am now very pain free and now I feel very little pain in my knees when I walk or walk or sit

Thank you for understanding the lesson and sharing your assignment; I hope that you will enjoy this week's lesson and try to implement it in your life if you see any such case.

Observations

Task 1 (2.6/3)
You have shared a good knowledge about knee osteoarthritis, and it's cause, symptoms, treatment but you have to add the stages too of knee OA to better explain this to other users. I bit more depth require to complete the answer. I appreciate your effort.

Task 2 (2.7/3)
In the second question, you tell us about how you were assessed by physiotherapist by doing the physical examination, history taking, investigations of patients. That's good you were diagnosed on time as you are on the early stage approx grade 1 of knee OA and get treatment on time. But it would be better if you add 1 or 2 special tests to confirm the diagnosis. Good.

Task 3 (3.5/4)
You try the heel slides, William Flexion ( knee to chest exercise), Knee Isometric ( Knee flexion, Abduction & adduction ). But while performing exercises try to keep your camera on wide angle so that exercise position can be captured clearly. Remember always apply heating pad to relax your muscles before performing these exercises. I appreciate your efforts.

Overall you made a good attempt to answer all the questions. I appreciate your efforts. But next time try to avoid the above written suggestions. Keep learning and try to implement your knowledge to the people suffering from any knee Osteoarthritis. Thank you.
