Corn is a herbaceous plant that reaches four meters high and has roots of one and a half meters in the ground. It contains all the necessary substances that accumulate in the leaves and ears.

The chemical composition of corn is wide and diverse: it contains about ten vitamins, among which the most important are from group B, as well as C, E, PP, K and beta-carotene.

Corn contains micro and macro elements in the form of potassium, copper, iron, phosphorus, selenium; calcium, zinc, sodium, manganese and magnesium. There are also valuable omega-6 and omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids in corn.

Corn kernels are saturated with protein, fat and carbohydrates. In addition, they contain fiber, dextrins and starch, as well as mono and disaccharides.

The saturation of corn grains with valuable substances determines the great usefulness of this product for human health.

The composition is so well balanced in the product that, with its regular use in food, the human immune system strengthens significantly and safely resists colds and infectious diseases.

The presence of corn grains in the form of potassium and sodium has a beneficial effect on the state of the cardiovascular system, protecting a person who loves corn dishes from heart attack, stroke and other heart problems.

The great antioxidant potential of corn slows the aging of body tissues, cleanses blood vessels and even prevents the appearance of cancer problems.

Regular consumption of corn can optimize the functions of the visual apparatus: the carotenoids present in it increase visual acuity.

Saturation with representatives of the vitamin B group allows corn products to positively affect the state of the human nervous system, suppressing irritability, neurosis and overcoming depression and the effects of stressful situations.

Another curious and undoubtedly valuable quality of corn kernels: the elements it contains are capable of neutralizing the harmful effects of alcohol. The presence of vitamin K improves the ability of the blood to clot rapidly, and glutamic acid activates the brain and improves memory.
