The sun is setting in the dry deciduous jungle of Central India. The trees loose their leaves annually during the summer.
They can not let the water transpire through their leaves during this harsh summer. Water is very precious, specially at 40 degrees centigrade plus summers of central India.
As we travel in the forest path, the trees form a very beautiful silhouette! Their bare branches stretching towards the sky and the forest floor more open than ever from above.
Amidst this a Crested Serpent Eagle sits and watches for a prey.
