The journey to Steemit didn't start recently, it was some good months ago about 6-7. The first time I had about Steemit I was at my University in my Lecture room.
Our country representative @yohan02 dropped by informing and guiding students on how Steemit works.
When he stepped into my Lecture room, I gave him little attention and I probably thought it was some kind of scam. He advised us to sign up but a few where interested.
After a month while I was at home, I gave a friend a call @kyara2 I was asking her if she has any idea on how I can make money with using much efforts online. And guess what she was already informed about Steemit. @kyara2 goes to the same university with me and @yohan02 had taken her through the entire Steemit thing.
Well that very day I signed in but it was again a hustle with me. The Codes gave me hard time on signing in but fortunately I succeeded. She talked about communities more often but I didn't really understand how all this worked but the first community I learnt was @teamuganda since i was told most of my posts where supposed to be done in my country community.
She never gave up on me she took me through each and everything everytime I asked her for help. Never at any moment was i a burden, she taught me and endeavored all was in place.
Our Country representative @yohan02 welcomed us warmly and he added us to the Uganda Steemit WhatsApp group. And here they guided all the newcomers who barely knew a thing on Steemit.
With time, I had learnt most of the things and I could post on my own. I enjoy @steemit because it pays out my efforts and keeps me motivated to carry on without ceasing.
My first experience wasn't easy, since I used to think hard on what to compose all the time but later it became fun and beneficial to me.
Thanks for the contest,I invite @kyara2 @gabannah to participate.
