Reading is one of the things i so much cherish. As a writer, i love reading people's literary works. It helps expand my knowledge on writing.

Reading is not only a means of getting knowledge but also a means of getting inspirations.

Reading makes us outstanding. Reading opens our insight to things we wouldn't have known nor heard.

Imagine reading about others culture. You may not be able to be there but having such knowledge is enough to help you relate with them based on their cultural beliefs.

There is a saying that; "He who cannot read is not better than he who does not know"

Reading imbibes us with necessary knowledge to stand out among our peers.

Many people in the world today has attained great feats in education. All these are the manifestation of their efforts in reading books.

What types of books do you like to read

I don't like limiting myself to a particular genre. I love getting all the required knowledge in all books. I read both dramatic works, poems, prose works etc.

I never loved reading poems. I didn't even planned going through one until the day i picked up a poem titled "Early Bird." I loved the poetic device so much that i read it with so much enthusiasm. That was the day i started having love for poetry and today, I am a poet.

I read all types of book. My aim while reading is just to get the knowledge embedded in such literary works.

Can reading be a hubby or a form If relaxation

I see reading as a hubby and as a form of relaxation.
I love reading and i love having a book in my hand or on my phone always.

Sometimes, when bored, i will take up my favourite book or poems and read them over and over again.

It serves both purposes.

How many books have you read this year. Did you learn from it?

I cannot remember the exact number of books i have read this year. I got many books downloaded on my phone last year and I'm still doing justice to it.

I love reading and it expands my knowledge as a writer.

There are errors i made in some of my write-ups as a new writer that no one cared to correct me on it. They are more of wrong use of punctuation. It was through reading other peoples work that i found out those errors and got them corrected.

Sometimes, i might have some issues in my creative works, like wrong use of punctuations, dialogue etc. I will quickly check corrections on those books i have read.

Once, i saw the corrections there, i effect it on my writing.

Reading has really helped me. It has expanded my knowledge into so many areas of life and has helped me in my writing journey.
