International Women's Day 2023 was officially celebrated on March 20th and 21st. The main theme of this year's Women's Day was - "Digital methods and innovation will eliminate gender discrimination". On this theme, my office officially arranged an honor in Dhaka for about 75 field-level women workers from all over Bangladesh. All appeared at the Uttara BRAC Learning Center on March 19. On March 20, the journey to Saitening started at 6 o'clock. After visiting Dhaka University Campus, TSC, Central Shaheed Minar, Military Museum, Novo Theater, Smriti Soudh, etc., overnight at Uttara. Interestingly, many field-level colleagues have never been to Dhaka before and have not had the opportunity to visit these places. Their joy was very enjoyable. There was a special event at the Mohakhali head office the next morning. Motivational speeches by filmmaker and dramatist Ajmeri Haque Badhan, uplifting stories by BRAC graduates, dance by workers, songs, songs by TV stars, and royal food. I am impressed and overwhelmed by this kind of organization for all women workers. I am blessed to have had two enjoyable days with colleagues at the field level. The reason for writing here is that we all strive to keep our families well and happy. There is no special day for their entertainment, take a trip to such a place and you will be able to enjoy the pleasure firsthand.
